Real Holidays and International Yoga festival trip:
Arrival 27th Feb and Departure 16th March

Day 1 – Saturday 27 Feb: Arrival in Delhi, airport pick up, check-in at hotel. (D)

Day 2 – Sun 28 Feb: Delhi tour: After breakfast at the hotel visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Connaught Place shopping center. Lunch at city restaurant afternoon visit Lotus temple and some shopping in the evening. Overnight stay.

Day 3 – Mon 1 March: Delhi to Haridwar: by train (4 ½ hrs) drive to Rishikesh Parmarth Niketan Ashram for yoga festival and on arrival register your name and rooms will be allotted after that. Participants will have to respect the rules and regulations as well as the old traditions set by the Ashram and also it is advisable to take part in the event with an open mind, to get the most out of it. If you have any questions or enquiries, please ask during the question time. During your stay simple vegetarian meals will be provided to the participants from the Ashram and accommodation will be basic on sharing bases.

Day 3 to 9 day – Mon 1 to 7 March: Real Yoga Experience with Best teachers from all around the world as well as from India. Join the International Yoga festival at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. Enjoy evening Arti by the Holi Ganges every day and enjoy Indian meals at the Ashram Buffet in a beautiful garden setting. Day starts early morning from 6am with meditation and chanting and goes till dinner and evening talks as well as breaks for breakfast and lunch in the day time. Take part in various types of Yoga practice as well as opportunity to learn from World renowned teachers every day on different important topics about yoga and life. Choose the teachers and classes and talks you would like to take part in you whole day and join the teachers to practice as well as to ask any questions or doubts you may have.

Apart from yoga life, Treks India will organise and make you explore Rishkesh’s village life around as well as walks to many famous temples and waterfalls. You get chance to do white water rafting in the Ganges as well as camping experience, if you would like to do so. Or get Ayurvedic treatments in Rishikesh. So many options if you don’t want to spend all day in the ashram.

Day 10 – Mon 8 March: Rishikesh and Haridwar. Overnight sleeper train to Amritsar.

Day 11 – Tue 9 March: The Golden Temple, Amritsar and Wagah Border.

Day 12 – Wed 10 March: Amritsar to Dharamshala-Tibetan Budhist centre (180 kms / 5 – 6 hrs).

Day 13 – Thur 11 March: Dalai Lama Temple and Sightseeing around Kangra Valley.

Day 14 – Fri 12 March: Tibetan Norbulinka Tibetan Craft Centre and Shopping.

Day 15 –Sat 13 March: Dharamshala to Mandi (4 -5 hrs) and Rewalsar Lake, stay in Mandi.

Day 16 – Sun 14 March: Drive to Natural Hot Springs, Tattapani through the terrace fields and Himalayan valleys.

Day 17 – Mon 15 March: Morning rest and tour to Thali Village and drive in the evening to Shimla and dinner and over night in Shimla.

Day 18 – Tue 16 March: Next day flight to Delhi from Shimla as well as visit Shimla in the morning. Afternoon Shopping in Delhi and late night flight home.
